19th Century Political Contemporaries Papers
This collection contains correspondence, legal documents, and signatures from various political contemporaries from the 19th century. The letters and documents in this collection range from personal correspondences to matters of business. This collection has five series consisting of U.S. Presidents and Vice Presidents, members of President Lincoln's Cabinet from both terms, politicians within the Union, and politicians within the Confederacy.

The contents of the first series include correspondence between citizens along with letters from past Presidents Hoover, Eisenhower, Reagan, Bush Sr., Bush Jr., and Clinton. Additionally, within the second series, there are ephemera items consisting of poems, an invoice, and a ticket to the dedication of President Lincoln's tomb.
