This series contains an assortment of historical documents collected by Mrs. J. B. French and Louise Brigance. It includes a copy of the diary of General Anthony Foster from the Civil War, historical accounts of the town of Sardis, Mississippi, and the surrounding area, and a Memorial to Congress requesting land grants for roads. The inclusive dates for this series are August 30, 1836-June 14, 1915 and it is arranged in ascending chronological order.
