This series contains a variety of different printed materials and is arranged into five sub-series. Sub-Series A: Booklets and Pamphlets contains segregation booklets and informational pamphlets created and distributed by governors, senators, and judges from Mississippi, as well as pamphlets from Mississippi Historical Society meetings and a few other topics. This sub-series is organized by subject and then chronologically in ascending order. Sub-Series B: Travel Brochures has travel brochures from antebellum houses and other historical sites in Mississippi and is organized by the place that the brochure is from. Sub-Series C: Catagalogues contains a large assortment of catalogues and magazines for books about ships and the sea, as well as model ship kits. There are also catalogues from various booksellers featuring rare or unique books about Mississippi. This sub-series is organized by topic. Sub-Series D: Books has photocopied pages from Ordinances of Mississippi. Sub-Series E: Newspapers contains a large assortment of clippings about Mississippi history and the 100th anniversary of the Civil War from newspapers such as The Panolian, The Star-Herald, The Commerical Appeal, The Clarion Ledger, and Jackson Daily News. This sub-series is organized in ascending chronological order.
