The collection includes miscellaneous materials concerning Shaeffer's Chapel Methodist Church, located eight miles southwest of Columbus, Mississippi. The collection includes a history of the church written in 1952 by Olin B. Looney. This history contains a copy of the property deed of the church. The history also contains a register of members and a list of pastors, presiding elders, and church school superintendents. The collection also includes the Official Membership and Church Record of members, marriages, and births.
