Scope and Content

Civil War letters and other papers of the Honnoll family, including correspondence from William Honnoll, T.E. Mackin and John Dale; military records; and other family papers, on microfilm.

Also contains the Avie Honnoll Primitive Baptist Church material, which includes publications of the Primitive Baptist Church, primarily in Mississippi and Alabama. The Mississippi mapterial has been separated and cataloged for the Special Collections print collection.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

The Civil War material was loaned for microfilming by Mrs. Avie Honnoll, 1959-1961. Mrs Honnoll also contributed the Primitive Baptist Church publications at about the same time.
