Biographical Note
Fredrick Roy Frank (1931-1983) was a professor of architecture at Mississippi State University from 1975 until his death, and also served as a facilities planner at MSU's Metahydrodynamic Energy Center and an adjunct the College of Vetinary Medicine. In addition to his academic appointments he was also president of VFC Inc the facilities consultants division of the Ehrenkrantz group, and principal architect for Frank Architects.
Frank received both a BA in architecture (1954) and an MA in regional planning (1955) from Cornell University in New York. He was awarded the Charles Goodwin Sands Memorial Medial in 1954, for his undergraduate thesis. He also served in the U.S. Navy from 190-51 and 1955-58.
Notable projects include the ancillary services expansion and the long range plan for Oktibbeha County Hospital.
