A.J. Sykes Papers
Scope and Contents
The A.J. Sykes papers, 1865-1888, and 1966, contain copies of letters of A.J. Sykes and his wife, Mrs. Georgia Sykes, from the Civil War and post Civil War period, a letter from James Murdock Sykes to Mrs. Georgia Sykes re: estate business, and letters from Eugene Sykes to his brother and mother while a student at Mississippi A & M College. Also included are genealogy charts and newspaper articles.
