Historical Backgrounds

Osborn Presbyterian Church, located in the community of Osborn in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi, was organized by the Tombigbee Presbytery on October 24, 1886. In 1909, the church opened a new building on the old lot of the community’s Methodist church, which had closed and relocated to become Curtis Chapel. Following a development program in the mid-1950s, the church added more rooms and an updated chapel. Osborn Presbyterian Church is still active today.
