Account written by Wallace, a Winston County, Mississippi, farmer who joined the Winston Guards at age 16 and travelled with the Confederate Army from Mississippi to Virginia. Included is a list of deaths, discharges, and desertions for the Guards. Collection includes two transcripts, one of which is heavily annotated.
