Biographical Note

Wiley Sanders, Sr. was born in July 1852 in Alabama. During his life, he worked as a farmer, editor of Star Herald in Kosciusko, Mississippi, and a member of the Mississippi State legislator. He married Fannie Stokes Sanders and was father to Lucien Stokes Sander. He died in 1937 in Attala County, Mississippi.
