James Silver Collection

James Silver material collected by Hunter Cole while serving as Associate Director for Marketing at the University Press of Mississippi and concerning the publication of James Silver's book, Running Scared: Silver in Mississippi (1984). Includes author's questionnaire completed by author James Silver at the time of the publication of his book and Silver letters concerning reviews, promotion of the book and other routine matters, with some comments about matters at the University of Mississippi. Also includes one letter from Dr. Bennett W. Wall complementing the book, copy of John Salter review and Hunter Cole note about the collection, 2010.
