Microfilm: Varina (Mrs. Jefferson) Davis letters written to members of the A. M. Kimbrough family, 1888-1906; enclosures; pictures; will of Varina Ann Davis; deed to Beauvoir, Sarah A. Dorsey to Jefferson Davis, 1879; miscellaneous pieces; facsimile of Davis' bond; Joseph R. Ingram's book, 1863-1866, listing killed and wounded in the 1st Mississippi Infantry and including record of trip from Port Hudson to "Buck Snort" in Marshall County, Mississippi, and accounts. Addition in process: Papers of Judge A. Mc Kimbrough and Mary Hunter Southworth Kimbrough include family letters, organizational materials, publications and other materials documenting the family, their connection to Varina Howell Davis, Mrs. Kimbrough's work with organizations such as the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the Mississippi Tuberculosis Association, the Red Cross, and other groups. Includes business papers of Judge Kimbrough and personal correspondence of the extended family of Gees, Morgans, Poindexters, as well as materials of authors Winnie Davis and Upton Sinclair.
