Correspondence, published and unpublished research papers, reports, abstracts, articles, bibliographies, tests and test materials, audiocassettes, microfilm and other materials documenting the career and research activities of Khatena (b. 1924), MSU Educational Psychology professor and specialist in creativity and the education of the gifted and talented. Represented in the collection is the work of the major contributors in the field over the last 20 years, as well as in-depth documentation of the work of Khatena, E. P. Torrance, John Curtis Gowan and others.
