Records are of the history and innerworkings of this manufacturing company and also the personal records of Robert E. Anderson, last President and CEO of the company.
Company records include memos; personnel records; financial records; warranty deeds; parts and machinery price lists, blueprints and operating instructions; company brochures, manuals and other literature; competitor brochures, manuals and literature; records of special projects which include War Department Corp of Engineers (Vietnam and World War I); Forestall in Chilie, Nepal and Covadonga, Modaraba. Numerous photos and negatives of company building external and internal, parts, machinery, company personnel and those of the special projects.
Personal records of Robert E. Anderson include personnel letters, collected humor, political contacts, financial records, records of other family members including father-in-law, Dr. W. J. Aycock (REA Administrator of his estate), church (1st Presbyterian Church, Corinth, MS); as member of North Miss. Industrial Development Assn.; board member of Mississippi Manufacturers Assn., General Service Administration, Department of Natural Resources.

Historical Note
Corinth Machinery Company was established in 1902 as Corinth Engine and Boiler Works. Originally started as Brennan Manufacturing Company in Louisville, KY in 1875. Purchased and moved to Corinth, Mississippi, by Paul T. Jones, Jr., Hugh Edwin Ray, and Jameson C. Jones.
