Contains original clippings and newspapers from Frank Burkitt's career as a newspaper editor (clippings have been photocopied for researcher use). The collection also contains one folder's worth of correspondence (photocopies).

Conditoins Governing Access

Majority of this collection is open for public use. However, the folder containing the original newspaper clippings is restricted. Patrons should instead use the photocopies of these materials. The oversized newspapers are also in fragile condition. These should be viewed in another format (availble from Chronicling America).
