G.V. "Sonny" Montgomery papers, Meridian Office Files

This series of the G. V. "Sonny" Montgomery papers contains records created by and held at the regional Congressional office in Meridian, Mississippi. Materials cover the entirety of Montgomery's Congressional service, from 1967 to 1995. Subjects covered include the Vietnam War, Schools, Veteran's issues, Junior colleges and Universities, and agriculture. materials are organized by Congress (i.e., 90th Congress, 91st Congress), and then alphabetical within each Congressional sub-series. This series contains several general correspondence files as well as indiviual constitutent correspondence files.
