Speeches, October 1986-September 1987

The G. V. "Sonny" Montgomery papers Public Series contains copies of press releases, columns, speeches, and weekly radio addresses given by Congressman Montgomery from 1967 to 1996. The files contain transcripts or copies of every item and are arranged chronologically within each type and within each box. The Series also contains both reel-to-reel and cassette recordings of Congressman Montgomery's weekly radio addresses and interviews with other members of Congress conducted by Congressman Montgomery. The cassette tapes have been digitized and can be found on the MSU Libraries' Digital Collections page. The reel-to-reels have been digitized but are not available online.
