Biographical Note
Ibra Harris Cleveland, son of John Cleveland and Martha Rhoda Cleveland, was born in Georgia in 1819, and moved to Newton, Mississippi around 1860. He would later briefly move to Texas before returning to Mississippi. He he married Piety Louise Adams, also of Georgia, in 1840, and they had 15 children. They were farmers, and members of the Rock Branch Baptist Church in Union, MS.
