Scope and Contents

Bernhardt Wall was an American artist and noted historian who lived from 1872-1955. Wall was born in New York. Throughout his life, Wall also lived in California and Texas. Wall was a veteran of the Spanish American War. Wall was a student at the Buffalo Art League during the late 1800s. By 1915, Wall set out to become an artist full time. Wall authored The Odysssey of the Etcher of Book in 1945. Wall died in California in 1956.
