James Jay Monaghan was a well known collector of Lincolniana in the early to mid-twentieth century. Born in 1891, Monaghan was also a scholar of Abraham Lincoln. Monaghan published a bioliography of works by and about Abraham Lincoln. Many of those materials are accessible in the Frank and Virginia Williams Collection of Lincoliana. This finding aid includes a list of those artifacts, pamphlets and other materials. This collection is organized by Monaghan number.
