Scope and Contents

Photographs, framed photo, military records, homestead exemption forms, flag, 1920 Reveille, and miscellaneous records of the Boswell family found in the abandoned Boswell home in Marshall County, Mississippi, before the house burned in October 2004. Photographs were taken and collected by Michael Hester. Included are materials documenting the military service and death of Henry H. Boswell (1909-1944), and the military service of Jesse Bryan Boswell (1899-1972), a 1921 MSU alumnus, and later college dairy herdsman.
