G. V. "Sonny" Montgomery papers, Presidential and Special Correspondence

This series of Congressman Montgomery's papers include correspondence and other materials from US Presidents, House, and Senate members. This series also contians materials from Foreign leaders. The US presidents that are included in this series are President Richard Nixon, President Gerald Ford, President Jimmy Carter, President Ronald Reagan, President George H.W. Bush, President Bill Clinton, President George W. Bush, and President Joe Biden. Along with correspondence, this series also includes Chiristmas Cards and invitations from President Ronald Reagan and President George H.W. Bush. Other notable people in this collection include House Speaker Tip O'Neil, Tom Daschle, Vice President Walter Mondale, Vice President Dan Quayle and Henry Kissinger. Several world leaders are also in this series including the former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi, Former President of Egypt Anwar El-Sadat, and Former President of South Korea Chun Doo-hwan.
