Scope and Content Note
The G. V. “Sonny” Montgomery papers, 98th Congress Series contains materials relating to the session of Congress held from 1983 to 1985. It includes legislation and correspondence related to Armed Services, Interstate Commerce, Judiciary, Public Works, Veterans Affairs and Ways and Means. It also includes several files related to various Committees including the Veterans Affairs, Education and Labor, Armed Services, Energy and Commerce, and Foreign Affairs.
